Default mage popularity

is there anyone else who is tired of the overpowering of the mage class like i am? i mean it's time to level the playing field and share the wealth. i have built both versions of mage decks and are tired of mirror matches. I would love to see some tasty interupt abilities like the mage has, given to other classes, such as the hunter. Just mix it up that's all i'm saying. I think that once someone finds the anti-meta build to handle mage two things will happen. Power will shift to that build. and hopefully they will leave answers up to another class besides the mage. Let's get original and get of the mage sack!!!!

I agree and also disagree with this statement.

I agree the mage is at times completely overpowering with its infinite ability to interrupt, but you also got to look at magic. A mage deck is essentially a blue deck. Blue decks can be pain in the asses, but so can black hate decks. Each deck has a strong point, but with a strong point comes a weakness. I have played against quite a few mage decks and I agree to an extent they are overpowering, but only in certain fields.

Cinnamon rolls ftw. XD

Btw, I used to play my mage all the time in duels, but I have switched over to my hunter because once you get a pet or two out there (with stable master) and when Intimidation hits play.... GG

Mage's are overpowering? Haha, intimidation is far more ridiculous (if you can get it out there without it being destroyed or interrupted of course. haha)

i truley do not not believe ther is a weakness in the mage class. yes i know their heroes only have 25 health. but that is no reason to pump that class up to " unbeatable" state. I mean if there is a weakness in this class, mage would not be played at the top 8 table for the world championship this year!!!!!!

6 OUT OF 8 DECKS were mage.

will it not swing around at some point?

i don't play wow tcg that much and haven't been playing a massive amount of time anyway, so surely there must have been overpowered classes in the past?

or has it always been about the mage? ;p

well the game is going on 4 years old, but the mage started get powerful early 2008. it was looking to win 2008 worlds but was taken down by a nice shaman anti-meta build. the following blocks that were released in 2009 pushed mage into unbeatable status. SO.... i'm hoping the tide will change in 2010.
As far as i know no other class has been this dominant!

Default Are mages the best

Well here is my thoughts on the matter. While Mage's typically in the past have been able to fill some pretty good shoes, I believe now that we are stating to see a shift in the meta game to classes like... Hunter and of course Death Knight. Unfortunately, in there quest to play catch up with the Death Knight class I think they may have tipped the scales to heavy to fast. Hunter has been gaining some good steam the last couple of expansions and I personally am hoping to see more hunter decks in tournaments. There is my two cent worth. Thnx for playin'
